The
professionals at Tuscan Impressions are dedicated to
providing
the latest in sustainable building materials through our
imported and domestic plasters. Our materials are a practical,
environmentally friendly alternative to paint, cement, gypsum
and acrylics.
Tuscan works
with architects, builders, designers or property owners to make
the best project choices for all construction, including
historic renovation.

The
team is led by SAFRA Master Artist Eve Gray, who has studied in
the United States, in Italy under Gianfranco Foroni and in
Marrakech under a Tadelakt master. She founded Tuscan
in 2002 after a career as a decorative paint artist.
Tuscan Impressions' plasters
resist mold, have no volatile
organic
compounds and help regulate humidity. You can't say that
about paints and faux finishes. Also, because our plasters have
color throughout -- not just on the surface -- they have a
durability and fade resistance that far exceeds other wall
coverings or faux finishes.
Our Italian Plaster line
is manufactured by SAFRA in
Verona, using materials from the worlds finest limestone beds of
northern Italy. Eve holds SAFRA's highest certification as a
master artist. All SAFRA finishes are applied in at least three
layers by artisans trained in Italy. Choose from among our 40
finishes, including our popular metallics, all custom-tinted.
Our American Clay Natural Earth
Plasters are available in three finishes and 32 standard
colors, with custom tinting available. Eve and her husband,
Tom, have received the highest levels of American Clay training
and frequently are asked by the company to train new dealers.
The Tuscan team is the most experienced American Clay
application group east of the Mississippi. All American Clay
products can be applied by our trained artisans or purchased
through Tuscan as a do-it-yourself project (training
is suggested but not required; call:770.528.0272 or email: eve@tuscanimpressions@mindspring.com)
